    Description

    The 2010 Congo Democratic Republic 500 Francs with a pick number P-100 was issued by the Central Bank of Congo to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the countrys freedom from Belgium. The banknotes obverse features the Port de Matadi with cranes, buildings, and ships. Mountains are also visible in the background. The reverse of the banknote displays the Kinsuka Bridge on the center and the 50th-anniversary logo on the right. The paper bill is 151 x 70 mm in size and bears a solid security thread with demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO. It also has a watermark that reflects the head of an okapi. Additionally, it has a registration device that shows the map of Congo and RDC on the front and a map with BCC at the back. This Congo Democratic Republic 500 Franc banknote is in uncirculated condition.
