New Old Stock Archdale Argyle Men's Socks Original Tags

Offered are a pair of vintage socks by Archdale.  These socks are new old stock and still with the tags.  I believe they are from the 1950's.
The color is a lighter chestnut brown shade with beige in the weave then off-white, dark brown and a lighter brown square patterned design. On one side of one sock is an imprint that states the following:
Solid Framed Argyle, Vat Dyed Washfast Colors, 100% Ingrain Combed Cotton.  There are some numbers under that design that are a little hard to read.
There are no rips or tears or holes.  These socks are in excellent condition for their age.
