2. good   condition, not perfect
3. brown foot portion is heavier wool than the top purple part
4. all wool just different weights
5. hard to find colored clothing items from this era
6. toes of both socks need mending
7. there are several other small flea bites
8. four needle knitting, not seamed
approximate measurements
1. heel to toe 9 in.
2. heel to top 18 in.
