Vintage Lot of Handmade Tami Socks White Black Felt Lined. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Vintage 1940’s Japenese Handmade Tobi Socks. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
Measurements:
White 9 inches long by 3.5 inches wide.
White 8-1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide.
White child’s 5.5 inches by 2-1/2 inch wide.
Black 10 inches long by 4 inches wide.
These are in very good handmade condition - they have been washed and pressed at listing. There are some wear spots and discolorations but in very good condition for the age and very soft and comfortable. A couple pair appear to never have been worn.
This is an original handmade Tabi Sock lot of 4 pair. Cotton upper and felt/flannel interior. Cotton canvas sole, all Kohaze closure fasteners and hooks intact. See pictures.
My stepfather went to Japan in 1943 as a missionary and entered interment during the end of WWII. After he was released, he stayed on in Japan for several years. These are part of his collection.
