Video: Thane school peon thrashed for passing lewd comments at 4 girls

A complaint has been filed against a peon of a school in Thane for allegedly passing lewd comments at four girls, a police official. The case was filed after the girls informed their parents about the incident.
As news of the incident spread, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers barged into the school to confront the accused. He was beaten up by the MNS workers, the police official added.
“The MNS activists also roughed up the peon. Further probe into the case is underway,” the official said.

A video has surfaced online, showing MNS workers thrashing the accused even as others around him try to pacify them.
“You have done something that’s very wrong,” a worker said, following which another MNS worker could be seen slapping the accused in the now viral video. The accused was attacked in what looked like the computer lab of the school. The accused could be heard repeatedly apologising to the workers in the video.
